ina is short for catalina. when i was small enough not to be able to use my vocal cords properly i decided to call myself like that. grannies and aunties found it charming - i found it much easier! my hands constantly think of lost grannies and aunties when they are busy making things. i am ever grateful to them for teaching me to knit, crochet, sew, but most of all, for making me love handmade things. i was more than lucky to inherit the patience of my dad, and learn to value true hand-work from my mum. this blog is actually a story about my family, for my friends. i hope you will enjoy it...
